You can experience an active holiday right in the town of Dubí, too. Tennis players can take advantage of the Bystřice courts and their facilities. These belong to the Dubí Tennis Club located at 284 Sportovní Street. If the court is not booked, you can play an hour game per day there. If there is no one else interested to play, you can continue playing beyond this time. The tennis courts open at 12:00 on weekdays (10:00 at weekends) and close after dark. Nearby the courts there is also a football pitch and the RH Dubí sports hall.
Equestrians say that the most beautiful view of the world is from horseback. You can put this saying to the test in area of Dubí and learn about the magic of the Ore Mountains from a different point of view. It doesn't matter if you are 5 or 50, you can start riding at any age. Horseback riding has recently garnered an unexpected boom and going riding or even owning your own horse hasn't been a luxury for a long time now. In Dubí and the mountain villages around, you will find many riding stables, farms and ranches that offer horseback riding even for absolute beginners. Don't worry, you can do it! The ponies (for these very purposes) are very tame and reliable, most have learned to go single file. However, never mount a horse without a riding helmet! All riding stables will be happy to provide one for you.
Everyone has a different idea of what an active holiday entails, and there are some who could perceive the phrase ‘active holiday’ as an oxymoron. In Dubí, you can spend your holiday by actively relaxing, travelling, or relaxing while doing sports. On hot days, you can go for a swim, play golf, go fishing or explore the area on foot or by bicycle. You will also have the opportunity to play tennis or football, or have a look round at the world from the saddle of a horse.
