The baroque single-nave Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Cínovec dates back to 1729–1732, but a wooden church used to stand on this site previously. The church, with a triangular-enclosed presbytery and prismatic tower above the gable wall, is one of the last relics of old Cínovec, and has always been one of the dominant structures of the neighbourhood. The second-most dominant sight used to be the hundreds-year old Border Beech, commemorated today by a newly planted tree and the Czech and German Border Beech Celebration. It is organised in August by the town of Dubí, jointly with Erzgebirgsverein Zinnwald.
